“Stuck On” Gratitude

Meet our friend, Danielle! Danielle works at Maine Savings Federal Credit Union and she recently joined us for a tour of our inpatient pediatrics department and the neonatal intensive care unit. As part of the tour, she heard about a need – fun, kid-themed band aids. Danielle left that afternoon with an idea. She created an online fundraiser for family and friends to donate boxes of band-aids or cash that she’d use to buy some. Fast forward a few days and Danielle, with the brightest smile on her face, stopped by the Medical Center with a donation of approximately 6,000 band-aids. Yes, 6,000!
