Meet Miracle Maker Richard Larrabee

If you’ve spent time in our newborn intensive care unit, Richard Larrabee, CNA III may be a familiar face and name. Richard is the staff leader for Carter’s Quiet Care Cuddlers, a group of volunteers who help care for the youngest patients in the NICU.

He was recently named Volunteer Leader of the Year at EMMC, and we couldn’t be prouder to shout congratulations. Richard is a dedicated and passionate leader who continues to improve the quality of the Cuddlers program. He collaborates with Volunteer Services to recruit, select, and train new Cuddlers, and he supports each volunteer through their journey while working with colleagues to develop a strong support system. Richard meets with the Cuddlers regularly to provide additional training and education.

Congratulations, Richard, and thank you for all you do to help care for the Medical Center’s tiniest patients and their families.
