Meet EMMC’s New Pediatric Surgeon

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Sean Barnett to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. Dr. Barnett is our new board-certified pediatric surgeon. He specializes in all aspects of pediatric surgery using minimally invasive techniques.

“I can think of no greater responsibility than to take care of children,” says Dr. Barnett. “I try to be available to explain things to patients and their parents through any means, making sure they understand a diagnosis, and what to expect with surgery, including drawing pictures and diagrams. I recognize that every child and situation is different, and I do everything I can to help put families at ease during one of the most stressful times in their lives.”
