Maine’s Logging Community Tees Off “Fore” Miracles
What do you get when you add together 164 players, 37 sponsors, and countless volunteers? The perfect recipe for MIRACLES!
Please join us in shouting thank you to everyone who participated in the 28th annual Log A Load For Kids Golf Tournament at JaTo Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln on Friday, September 13.
The annual tournament was hosted by the Professional Logging Contractors of the Northeast. If you aren’t familiar with the organization, it is based in Augusta, Maine, and its mission is to help give loggers and people in Maine and Vermont’s forest products industries a voice locally and nationally. The organization has also become an incredible champion for Maine’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals programs in Bangor and Portland. Each year, we are touched by its members heartfelt generosity and kindness, and this year was no different.
The 2024 tournament netted more than $63,000 – funds that will help Eastern Maine Medical Center care for our young patients, their families, the communities it serves, and one another. We are deeply appreciative for the support, and we are already looking forward to next year’s tournament so save the date – Friday, September 12, 2025!
