Maine Loggers Raise More Than $287,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals
The words “thank you” don’t seem enough to express our sincere gratitude for the support from Maine’s logging and forest products industry. On Friday, Dana Doran, executive director of the Professional Logging Contractors of the Northeast, presented a check to Victoria Sorrentino from Northern Light Health Foundation and Kate Richardson from The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital for more than $287,000.
These funds are critical to the mission of Maine’s two Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and they’ll ensure care is available today, tomorrow, and in all the days ahead. The unrestricted donation is raised through various events throughout the year, including the annual Log A Load for Kids Dinner and Auction each spring and two golf tournaments in the late summer.
We are truly grateful for the support. THANK YOU!
