Cheers to Dunkin’!

Join us in raising an iced coffee to our friends at Dunkin’! On June 20, Dunkin’ is generously donated $1 from every iced coffee to Dunkin’ Joy In Childhood Foundation. Later this year, Dunkin’ will distribute the money to local children’s hospitals, like Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, to support programs that bring smiles to our patients’ faces.

Dunkin’s Joy In Childhood Foundation was founded in 2006 by the generosity of franchisee owners, partners, employees, and guests. Their mission is to provide joy to kids navigating hunger or scary diagnoses’.  In 2023, Dunkin’s Joy In Childhood Foundation granted 171 grants to children’s hospitals and nonprofits to bring joy to kids during a scary time. Together, we can change kids’ health to change the future. Last year, the Joy in Childhood Foundation helped to fund a portion of Camp Hope, a partnership between Eastern Maine Medical Center and the Bangor YMCA.

Camp Hope is a special week-long camp for kids receiving care for cancer, and their immediate families. At Camp Hope, the kids get to enjoy swimming, crafts, campfires and so much more in a setting that allows them to just be kids!
