A “Beary” Big Thank You To Hotel Ursa

Our friends from Hotel Ursa stopped by Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center with a “beary” special donation that will brighten a few smiles on our Inpatient Pediatrics department.

Hotel Ursa, which opened in March on The University of Maine’s campus in Orono, hosted a teddy bear drive for National Teddy Bear Day. Stuffed animals are a source of comfort and security for our younger patients. And knowing that not all kids lean on stuffies as a source of comfort, the team also dropped off activity books.

We truly appreciate the team at Hotel Ursa’s kindest and generosity, and we’re grateful to call them friends and neighbors!
